Christian, 25, and Roberta, 29 — partners in life and in art — moved from Milan to Soverato, Calabria, looking for a deep change. Milan no longer gave them the artistic drive they needed: they felt stuck. They were looking for a different air, different people, different places — and they found them in Calabria.
This is how CinemaLab was born: a cinematic acting lab and an art gym, based in Montepaone. A project born from the belief that acting is therapeutic — that it can help people know themselves, free themselves from judgment (their own and others'), and in some cases even save them. Alongside them, their friend Susanna, a director who moved from Monza.
The concept that guides us
We are who we are, and we are perfect as we are. CinemaLab helps people become aware of living in the present, and to let go of the fear of judgment and the fear of not being interesting enough — because they already are, with all of their traits.
The team
Christian and Roberta lead the practical and interpretive side of acting, in both the 2026/2027 Program and the Art Gym, depending on demand. Susanna leads the technical and directing side.
